Trello

The Trello source puts your Trello boards on your board as a live card: each list as a tab, its open cards with their due dates, and what is overdue — next to your revenue, your content and everything else, instead of in another tab.

From the card you can also edit a Trello card (title, due date, list) or archive it — only when you click to do it. The agent never changes anything in Trello.

  1. Open Sources in the rail, choose Trello and click Configure →
  2. Click Connect Trello →
  3. Trello asks you to approve Vexlynk — approve it. There is no key to copy or paste.
  4. Choose your Boards to show (up to 3). With no selection, the card shows your first board.
  5. Optionally choose a Default list filter (All lists, To Do, In Progress, Done)
  6. Save — the Trello card appears on the board you are on

Test connection confirms it is working (“Connected — 3 boards visible.”).

The connection is stored encrypted in your vault. It is never written into your workspace.

  • Your lists as tabs — the real names of your Trello lists, one tab each, with the number of open cards on the tab. With more than one board, each tab is labeled with the board and the list.
  • Cards with due dates — each open card’s title and due date. Overdue cards are highlighted, and the header shows how many are overdue (“2 overdue”). A card whose due date is marked complete in Trello is never counted as overdue.
  • Up to 3 boards, with up to 50 open cards per board (the most recently active ones). Within a list, cards are ordered by due date.

The Default list filter keeps only the lists whose names match: To Do (for example “To Do” or “Backlog”), In Progress (“In Progress”, “Doing”) or Done (“Done”, “Completed”). Spanish list names such as “Por hacer”, “En progreso” and “Hecho” match too. All lists shows every list.

In the desktop app the card refreshes on its own every 5 minutes while it is on your board. You can also refresh it by hand.

Each of these happens only when you do it, on the card:

  • Edit card — click the pencil on a row. You can change the Card title, set the Due date or Clear due, and move the card to another List on the same board. Click Save and the change is written straight to Trello.
  • Archive card — click the archive icon and confirm (Archive card? → Archive). The card is archived in Trello, and you can restore it from Trello’s archive.

The card refreshes right after, so it shows what Trello now has.

Because Trello is a real source on the board, the AI agent can answer questions about it — “what’s overdue in Trello?”, “how many cards are in progress?” — from the card’s actual lists, cards and due dates.

Operator Actions reads the Trello card together with the rest of your board.

Connecting Trello and choosing boards is done in the desktop app. When your boards sync to the cloud, the Trello card also stays up to date in the web workspace, and editing and archiving cards work there too.

Open Settings → Connections, find Trello and click Remove key. Vexlynk’s access is revoked at Trello and the stored connection is deleted. Your boards in Trello are untouched.

  • The agent does not write to Trello. It can read and answer questions about your boards; editing and archiving happen only when you click on the card.
  • No new cards and no deletes. Creating cards, and anything beyond title, due date, list and archive, is done in Trello.
  • No card descriptions or comments. The card reads list names, card titles, due dates and completion — not descriptions, comments or Trello’s activity history.
  • Up to three boards. Other boards in your Trello account are not shown.

Trello counts as one connected source toward your plan’s source limit — see Plans & Limits.
