Settings
Settings is grouped into seven areas. Most people touch two or three once and never return.
General
Section titled “General”Interface preferences, including language — English and Spanish.
To change it: Settings → General → Language. It applies immediately.
How the agent gets its intelligence.
On a hosted plan this shows your usage meter — turns used this month and when it resets. On a BYOK plan it shows key configuration instead, because your requests go to your own provider.
The plan decides which you see; there is no manual switch. To add your own key, see BYOK.
Without any AI configured, the workspace and sources still work fully — it is the agent that needs a key or a hosted plan, not the app.

Manage or cancel plan opens your secure billing portal — change plan, update the card, view invoices, cancel. See Billing.

Clear local data, Delete cloud data and Delete my account — three genuinely different actions. Which one you want is explained in Your Account.
App updates also lives here.
To check for one: Settings → Data → Check for updates. The panel tells you which version you are on and whether automatic updates are enabled, off, or not configured for your build — so you always know whether waiting will bring you a new version or whether you need to fetch it yourself.
Security
Section titled “Security”Two-factor authentication — enable, disable, and see whether it is on. Steps are in Your Account.
Some sensitive actions ask you to re-authenticate even while signed in, so a walk-away machine cannot be used to change security settings.
Cloud sync is opt-in and off by default on every plan. It is a Plus and Pro feature — on Free it cannot be enabled.
To turn it on: Settings → Sync, then enable it. Your workspaces become available on your other devices. With it off, everything stays on the machine it was made on.

Wake-word settings, including the name Vexlynk listens for.
To turn it on: Settings → Voice → Enable voice commands, then set the wake name.
Desktop only — the web companion has no voice support and says so rather than offering a control that would not work.
