Social Analytics

Connect a social account and Vexlynk keeps a live account card on your workspace: followers with 30-day history, reach and engagement, and how your recent posts are performing — without opening the platform.

Three platforms are supported:

PlatformWhat you connectAvailable on
InstagramA Business or Creator accountPlus and Pro
FacebookA Facebook Page you managePro
TikTokYour TikTok accountPro

One account per platform — the card tracks your account, not a list of accounts. A personal Instagram profile can’t provide analytics; converting to a Business or Creator account is free in the Instagram app.

  1. Open the Source Library and find the platform under Social.
  2. Choose Connect — your browser opens the platform’s own sign-in page. You approve access there, on their site; Vexlynk never sees your password.
  3. Approve, and you’re done — the browser tells you to close the page, and the account card appears on your workspace.

Facebook has one extra step: after approving, Vexlynk asks which Page to track. Pick one and the card appears.

The card shows your follower count with its recent trend, reach, engagement, and recent post performance, with a freshness line telling you when it last updated. It updates automatically — there is nothing to refresh.

The AI Agent can read it too: ask “how are my socials doing?” and it answers from the live numbers on your workspace.

Vexlynk never posts, comments, messages, or changes anything on your social accounts. Some platforms bundle broad permissions into their approval screen — TikTok in particular grants more than we ask for — but Vexlynk’s social integration is built so it can only read analytics. There is no posting capability to misuse.

Revoke Vexlynk’s access from the platform’s own settings (Instagram/Facebook: your account’s Apps and websites settings; TikTok: Security → Manage app permissions). Vexlynk notices automatically and the card stops updating.

If your plan changes to one that doesn’t include a platform, that account is disconnected automatically — your account on the platform itself is never touched, and reconnecting after an upgrade is the same three steps.

Platforms expire access from time to time (password changes, security reviews). If that happens, connect the same account again from its tile in the Source Library — the card picks up where it left off.
