Task View

Vexlynk collects every to-do you have written, in every workspace, into one list. That list is the Task View.

The cross-board task panel with due dates

You do not add anything to it. It fills itself.

Place a to-do card and write items into it. Those items are your tasks — they appear in the Task View automatically, tagged with the workspace they came from.

That is the only route in. There is no separate “add task” button, because a task is always a to-do item living on a card somewhere. The Task View is a lens over your workspaces, not a second place to keep things.

Tick an item in the Task View and it ticks on the card. Tick it on the card and it updates in the Task View. They are the same item shown twice, not two copies.

This is what makes the view safe to work from: you never have to reconcile it against the cards afterwards.

A to-do item can carry a due date.

Set it on the item, and the Task View can order and group by it — so the question “what is due next?” has an answer across everything you are working on, not just the workspace you happen to be looking at.

Items without a date are not second-class; they simply have no position in time and sort accordingly. Plenty of to-dos never need one.

A to-do card is a good place to write a task and a bad place to find it later. Three weeks in, your tasks are spread across workspaces, and no single card tells you what today looks like.

The Task View answers that: everything outstanding, from everywhere, in one list, still connected to where it came from.

Clicking a task takes you to the card it lives on, so the surrounding context is one click away.

Your to-dos are part of what the AI agent sees for the workspace it is in. Asking “what’s outstanding?” works.
