ClickUp

The ClickUp source puts your ClickUp Space on your board as a live card: your lists, your tasks, what is overdue, what is due today and what is assigned to you — next to your revenue, your content and everything else, instead of in another tab.

From the card you can also add a task, mark one complete or reply on a task — only when you click to do it. The agent never changes anything in ClickUp.

  1. Open Sources in the rail and choose ClickUp
  2. Click Connect ClickUp →
  3. ClickUp asks you to approve Vexlynk — approve it. There is no key to copy or paste.
  4. Optionally choose a Default list filter (All, To Do, In Progress, Done) and Only tasks assigned to me
  5. Save, then place the card on your board

The connection is stored encrypted in your vault. It is never written into your workspace.

  • Overview — open tasks, overdue, due today and completed this week, with a status breakdown
  • My Tasks — the tasks assigned to you, by due date
  • Your lists as tabs — up to 12 lists, each with up to 50 tasks: status, due date (overdue is highlighted), assignee and priority
  • Recent activity — tasks that changed recently

The card refreshes on its own every 5 minutes while it is on your board. You can also refresh it by hand.

Which Space: the card shows one Space — the first Space of your first ClickUp workspace. If your work is spread across several Spaces, the card shows only that one.

Each of these happens only when you do it, on the card:

  • Add a task — type in New task… on a list’s tab and click Add. It is created in that list.
  • Mark complete — click the check on a task and confirm. It moves to your Space’s done status. (Offered only when the Space has a done status Vexlynk can read.)
  • Reply — comment on a task from the card.
  • Open in ClickUp — jump to the task in ClickUp for anything else.

The card refreshes right after, so it shows the change.

The tasks assigned to you also appear in Task View, alongside the tasks from your other cards, so “what’s on my plate” covers ClickUp too.

Because ClickUp is a real source on the board, the AI agent can answer questions about it — “what’s overdue in ClickUp?”, “what’s assigned to me this week?” — from the card’s actual tasks.

Operator Actions reads the ClickUp card together with the rest of your board, so an overdue task can show up next to the revenue or the client it sits beside — cited to the card, never presented as a cause.

  • The agent does not write to ClickUp. It can read and answer questions about your tasks; adding, completing and replying happen only when you click on the card. Editing, reassigning, moving or deleting tasks is done in ClickUp.
  • One Space. Other Spaces and workspaces in your ClickUp account are not shown.
  • Recent activity is derived from task changes, not from ClickUp’s full comment history.

ClickUp counts as one connected source toward your plan’s source limit — see Plans & Limits. It works on the desktop app and the web workspace.
