Shapes

Shapes carry no content. They show relationships — what leads to what, what belongs together, what is separate.

Place it

Open Shape in the rail, then drag Line, Arrow, Rect or Circle onto the canvas — or tap + to drop one into view.

The four

Line — a plain connector between two points. Association without direction.

Arrow — a connector that points. Sequence, flow, cause. When order matters, use an arrow rather than a line; the arrowhead is doing real work.

Rect — a rectangle. Group cards by drawing one around them.

Circle — a circle or ellipse. Same job, softer emphasis.

Use it

Drag the endpoints of a line or arrow to reposition them. Drag a shape’s edge to resize it.

To group cards, place a rectangle and size it around them. The cards are not captured or contained — they stay independent, and the rectangle is a visual boundary. Moving one card out of the rectangle does not change anything about the card.

That looseness is intentional. If you want a container that actually holds and orders things, use a column.

Worth knowing

Shapes are invisible to the agent. The AI agent reads the content of your cards. It does not infer meaning from a box you drew around three of them.

So if a grouping matters — “these are the Q3 items” — say it in a title as well as drawing it. The drawing is for you; the words are what the agent can use.
